mountain bike rotor with a shimano xtr caliper

Collection: Mountain Bike Disc Brake Rotors

Mountain bike rotors come in tons of different designs, and every company has a slightly different take on them. Increasing your brake rotor diameter is a common way to increase braking power, and most of these rotors go up to 220mm in diameter. Rotor thickness has become a popular topic over the last few years, with many companies straying from the once common 1.8mm standard.

TRP is one of those companies leading the charge with their 2.3mm rotors that are said to resist fading and warping compared to thinner rotors, and offer increased power at the same time.

SRAM has also joined the thicker rotor party with their HS2 rotors, and have quickly become one of the favorites among riders on all kinds of brakes. The 2mm thick HS2s are thin enough to fit in every brake caliper we've tried them in and offer increased performance over the previous generation Centerline rotors
