    This is his 2021 Knolly Chilcotin 151 in raw alloy. It looks pretty dang classy, huh? Ditching the little wheels of his old 27.5" Commencal Meta AM, Adam was curious about something bigger and faster. The Chilcotin 151 marks his initiation into the wonderful world of 29" wheels.  

    Building it from the frame up, Adam chose workhorse components with some fancier touches in key areas. Purple Industry Nine Hydra hubs laced to DT Swiss rims and a Maxxis Dissector/Shorty combo provide a stout and reliable base. Then Rockshox takes care of suspension with a Super Deluxe Ultimate rear shock and Zeb Ultimate fork. A solid mix of Sram GX, X01, and XX1 along with a uniquely machined absoluteBlack chainring keeps him pedaling (mixing and matching being a result of supply chain issues we've been seeing in the mountain bike industry). For brakes, Adam chose Sram’s Code RSC, a shop favorite. And to top it off, a Renthal stem, the OneUp Dropper Post V2, and OneUp Carbon bars take care of the rest. Add it all together and you get a classic build with some elegant touches on a robust, raw aluminum frame. Stellar build, Adam!
