The third generation of the Maxxis High Roller is an intermediate tire aiming to provide grip in all situations, from dry dusty hard pack to wet wintertime slop, but specializes in those hero dirt conditions where the dirt is loose and the knobs get to dig into the trail. With space between each spike going down the middle of the tire, this is the new perfect front tire for shoulder season riding when the trails are too wet for an Assegai yet too dry for a Shorty. Use this tire in the front and rear if you're lapping nothing but loamers, or use the classic DHR II in the rear for a long lasting but slightly less grippy option in that scenario.
While this tire was designed by Maxxis' fastest racers for the challenges presented by modern Enduro and Downhill courses, this tire is up for whatever challenge you can throw at it, between the tape or on your local trails. With bolstered side knobs, you can lean this tire over with confidence and carry speed through off camber sections of trail with ease.
